I was born on June 23, 1972 in Barnaul (Altai region). In 1994 I was baptized. I am married. My wife's name is Lina, we have two children (Sophia, 10; Donna, 7). I studied at a musical school playing piano and after that I studied in a musical college for 3 years, class of flute. In 1989 I organized a music band - “Sister” - which later on won at several music festivals. Since 2000 I periodically worked as a musician in Germany.
I wrote many music compositions for various groups of instruments. Spiritual music has a special place in my life. I composed both hymns for a capella singing in church (and they are performed in many Christian congregations throughout Russia and the former Soviet Union), and works on Biblical narratives. Besides all that I wrote some works for professional musicians, they are not based on religious views of a specific Christian group or denomination, but rather embody feelings and thoughts of the author himself, inspired by the Bible. I am very thankful to God for all that He allows me to do and I am learning to be grateful.
Life is going fast. Truly man’s “days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourishes. For the wind passes over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.”
The older I get the clearer I understand how fast life is passing by and I realize more and more that it's temporary. Our joy here on this earth depends on presence or absence of certain things, or on relationships, or on our success, etc. that's why I am filled with joy and anticipation of the upcoming life full of light and joy of another kind.
