I was born November 20, 1979 in Volgograd and was baptized into Christ on January 20, 2001. In 2002 I graduated from the Volgograd State University where I studied economics, majoring in Management. After that I worked in various companies for 2 years; in 2005 I came to St. Petersburg to study at ITCM.
Tony and Laura Chron, missionaries from the USA, played an essential role in my spiritual development. They lived in Volgograd for a year. I met with them due to my interest in studying English.
I decided to study at ITCM because I realized that I need a solid foundation for my spiritual life. I would like to devote my life to serving the Lord by serving my family: my husband, my children, perhaps adopted ones, and I would also like to be praising God in singing. I pray for the Lord to use all my gifts, abilities and knowledge for His glory. I also pray for my parents'salvation.
The time that I spent studying at the ITCM was the time of joy, tears and struggle with my Lord, with my brothers and sisters, with the teachers and the church. My faith, in a sense, became “heavier”, and my heart became lighter. I am not as naive; I have a deeper love for God’s word and for God. Lots of things happened in my life: I got married and moved to another part of the world - my husband and I live in Winter Park, Colorado. There is a church family here in Winter Park and I am praying that we become an active part of this family and serve as God’s instrument here. Another thing that happened - my father went on to the Lord. My heart is not heavy, because I was able to tell him about Christ. When your parents start passing away you rely and depend on God even more, and you come to understand that His love is always with you.
