The Institute of Theology and Christian Ministry was founded in 2004 by American and Russian Christians.
ITCM is a part of the American and Russian Restoration movement. The founders, board members, administration, professors and teachers are members of the churches of Christ.
Theological statement:
We acknowledge one God, the Creator of heaven and earth, revealed in the Old and New Testaments as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the uniqueness and finality of God's revelation in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and in the ultimate triumph of his kingdom. We practice baptism of adults by immersion for the forgiveness of sins and reception of the Holy Spirit. We await the resurrection of the dead and life in the world to come.
We believe that the risen Christ continues his ministry to the world through his Spirit in the church; we believe that participation in the life of the church nurtures Christian faith, is essential to Christian growth, and is necessary for salvation.
We acknowledge the Bible as the only rule for Christian faith and practice. We maintain the centrality and importance of Christian preaching to the mission of the church. In continuity with the American and Russian Restoration tradition of Christian faith and practice, in matters of faith we seek unity; in matters of opinion, liberty; in all things, love.
Founders: David Worley, Chuck Whittle, Oleg Yakimenko, Joel Petty, Alexander Kaladze and Vychelsav Zaharchenko.
